Counselling falls under the umbrella term ‘talking therapies’ and allows people to discuss their problems and any difficult feelings they encounter in a safe, confidential environment.  

Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep.  It does involve the induction of a trance-like condition, but when in it, the individual is actually in an enhanced state of awareness and still very alert, 100% in control of their thoughts and actions. 

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness involves being aware of being in the moment and is designed to help lower blood pressure and promote calmness. It can help with fears and anxiety to severe body disorders.

Mindfulness could help you with getting rid of several unwanted habits and problems. The skill of mindfulness can be developed using meditative practices to promote well-being. It promotes calmness and it is something you can learn and use for yourself in everyday life.

BWRT

Brain Working Recursive Therapy was created in 2011 by Terence Watts. This pioneering technique is remarkable in its ability to dissolve mind-related problems quickly and easily.

Hugh is trained in Level 1 BWRT from the British Brain Working Research Society.

CBT- COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY

I have been using CBT for over 20 years and it has been around for some time now but when I started it was called Rational Emotional Therapy (RET).  It is a talking therapy that helps people manage problems by changing the way you behave.  It is often used in depression and anxiety.   It is a practical method giving you coping skills to manage and take control of your life.
